TTo facilitate the process of adaptation to the altitude, this day we will trek through the first part of the famous Cadenita, progressively gaining height towards the summits of Loma Blanca (3560mts), Arenales (3400mts), Andresito (3100mts).
After that we return to the mountain hut to rest and prepare for the next day.
Approximate activity time, 5 to 6 hours.
Starting from the refuge we will follow the path that will take us to the "El Salto" camp. We will climb the moraine of the rubble, and later “the hell”, the hardest and most mythical section of this portage. We will arrive at the Salto de Agua camp, base for several of the five thousand meter hills in the area, where we can see the entire Potrerillos valley from the balcony. After setting up camp we will have the rest of the afternoon free to rest.
Approximate activity time: 4 to 6 hours.
Free day to rest and replenish energy.

This day we have an impressive panoramic view of the Tupungato Volcano, Cerro Aconcagua, Cerro Juncal, Cerro Plomo, also the Cordón and Quebrada de la Jaula among others. Depending on the weather, we will spend half an hour at the summit, and then begin our descent to the El Salto camp.
