Founded in 2018 and based in Argentina, Andes Extreme Adventures is a project aimed at training mountaineers or helping people reach their dream destinations, based on physical and/or technical preparation.
We believe this last point is necessary and required for you to have a unique experience. We will always recommend options within your reach and prepare you to achieve your goals.
Those of us who participate do so with the aim of conveying our passion for mountain activities and the natural environment, with the fundamental premise of the safety of those who choose our services.
As a Professional Mountain Guide, our goal is to make your experience as safe as possible. Additionally, if you choose, you can hire my services as a professional photographer so you can take home the best memories.
Our priority is risk management, safety, and compliance with protocols to ensure your experience is unique.
Trekking and Mountainering Guide
Silvina Miana is a trekking guide with a focus on mountain activities. She studied at the Provincial School of High Mountain Guides and Trekking (EPGAMT) in the province of Mendoza.
She is also trained as a WFR (Wilderness First Responder) first responder (Expertia).
Currently, her goal is to become certified as a mountain guide, for which she has conducted technical ascents and high-altitude expeditions in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile over the past three years.
In 2008, she began trekking and rock climbing. Between 2015 and 2022, she completed several training courses on ice climbing and roping for glacier transit and crevasse rescue. Since 2019, she has worked exclusively as a professional guide.
Her extensive mountain experience, professional ethic trained in various disciplines, and passion for outdoor sports are reflected in her professional development, passion for mountain activities, and sharing of knowledge and experience.
Prior to these studies, he completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (FAMAF, UNC). In this field, he worked as a programmer for several national and multinational companies in the sector. While completing these studies, he began a three-year Advanced Technician in Photography (Spilimbergo, UPC), completing her studies in 2014.
