During the mountain activity, all waste that came with us returns with us.
Papers, fruit peels, toilet paper, wet wipes, feminine dressings, etc. They can be discarded upon arrival at the shelter or in the destination city upon completion.

- 60/70 liter backpack to carry personal items.
- Backpack cover or nylon to waterproof the backpack.
- Trekking poles.
- Snow Gaiters / Crampons (will be notified if it is required closer to the date).
- Climbing helmet (with size regulation).
- Trekking or mountain boots with semi-rigid soles.
- Sleeping bag, fiber or duvet (-15°C to -30°C).
- Insulating and/or inflatable mat.
- Headlamp. Replacement batteries).
- Sunglasses or goggles, CAT 4.
- Sunscreen factor 60 or higher.
- Lip protector.
- Personal hygiene elements. Quick drying towel.
- Personal first aid kit (band-aids, gauze, adhesive tape, povidone-iodine, 1 pair of disposable gloves, 2 elastic bandages, ibuprofen, sublingual reliveran, loperamide, rehydration salts) and prescription medication if applicable.
- Suggestion: 70% alcohol to sanitize your hands.
- Two t-shirts (long sleeve/short sleeve).
- Diver or fleece jacket or windstopper.
- Fine down jacket or synthetic filling.
- Expedition down jacket (500gs filling).
- Waterproof jacket.
- Thermal shoe.
- Trekking or fleece pants.
- Waterproof pants.
- Warm hat, sun cap and buff neck scarf.
- A pair of fleece gloves, a pair of waterproof gloves.
- Optional: Mittens and/or Mitten Covers.
- Crocks (for resting in the shelter).

After the transfer, we'll begin our trek to the campsite to ease the altitude adjustment process. We'll return to the refuge and spend the rest of the afternoon resting and preparing for the next day.
Approximately 3 hours of activity.
Before dawn, we will leave from the hut towards the summit of C° Adolfo Calle and Stepanek, this day we will have an impressive panoramic view of the Rincón hills (5300mts), Vallecitos (5545mts), and Silver (5960mts).
Return to the basecamp where a nice dinner and a good sleep will help us to recover energy for the next day.
This day is intended for rest. For those who are interested, there will be talks available on assembling a first aid kit and MAM.
After a delicious breakfast we will go out to attempt the third and last summit. From the hut bordering the river we will reach the base of Cerro San Bernardo, we will travel carefully until we reach its summit, this day we have an impressive panoramic view of the hills in the ravine of the red moraines and its debris glacier.
Return to the hut and to the city of Mendoza where we will end our services.
