Upon reaching the Wilcacocha Lagoon, we'll be able to admire the Cordillera Blanca and its imposing snow-capped mountains: Huascarán, Copa, Vallunaraju, and Churup. We'll be able to stroll along the lakeshore, breathing in the fresh air at an altitude of 3745 meters. After an hour to enjoy this beautiful corner of Peru, we'll begin the descent and return by taxi to Huaraz.

We will take a taxi to the starting point for the village of Pitec. During the journey, we will pass through traditional Quechua villages such as Unchus and Llupa, where you can admire their adobe houses and farmland.
We will begin the hike after registering for entry into Huascarán National Park. After an hour and a half of ascent, we will reach a rocky area with beautiful waterfalls. We will then continue along a challenging trail for another 45 minutes, which will take us to the wonderful Churup Lagoon (4450 meters).
